People ask me if I support #GunControl
I usually respond in this manner: Of course I do. Anyone who possesses or handles any weapon should be in proper control and use of that weapon; knowing how to clean, maintain, use, and store it safely. Anyone who cannot do those things should not possess or carry those weapons.
However, should the government dictate what weapons a person can own or carry? No! Not without a lawful and constitutional amendment process as detailed in The Constitution for the United States of America, Article 5.
Without that constitutional amendment process ALL LAWS made by any government person to tell you whether you can possess a specific weapon, carry or not carry it in specific public locations/building, etc. is a blatant violation of Amendment 2. When people are not held accountable for their actions via an honorable justice system, the #GovernmentEncouragesCrime
Proper use of Amendment 13 works to make the penalty of criminal activity far more severe than the rewards from it -- but only when properly used and enforced.
For those of you who want the government to pass more #UnConstitutional #GonControlLaws you ought to ask the #NativeAmericans what happened to them when our government #DisArmed them. You ought to ask what happened in #Germany when #Hitler disarmed his citizens. Those, only two of the many examples I've heard about.and recall at the moment.
