#US #SS Fastest #Investigation Ever
At about 06:20 or so (in the A.M.) on September 22, 2019 a person lay groaning on the ground. Not so unusual for #DC
About a minute or so later, and a groan or two later, a jogger stops to look at the person on the ground, then continues running without announcing anything unusual.
With the next groan, the person managed to lift their arm.
The totally alert USSS officers in the park and on the street seems to have heard nothing and seen nothing; or totally assumed it was just another homeless person (similar to the homeless woman a few months earlier in Lafayette Square/Park who died from lack of immediate assistance from the well-trained ever-alert USSS).
A #homeless man went over to check it out. He found a man with bloody shirt in #LafayetteSquare near #PennsylvaniaAvenue .
Seeing the bloody shirt; he shouted to the #USSS to see if they wanted to call 911 or whether he should.
The homeless man figures it quicker to get his phone and call 911. This call was placed at 06:34.
While on the phone with the casual sounding 911 Operator, several other runners came by to assist. The USSS from across the street (Penn. Ave) had not yet arrived.
The #stabbed man was breathing (clear, but faint moaning), still barely conscious, so the runner indicates #gunshot which is relayed to the 911 Operator, who then sounds to jump-to and sends the call over the radio, heard on the US SS radios who have not yet called it in.
While the homeless man filled out his statement; a US SS officer had already determined it to be a "self-inflicted wound", based on his question to the homeless man.
"Did you see him stab himself?" Asked the US SS Police Officer to the homeless man.
A loaded, predetermining question. A yes or no response tends to confirm the #assumption by the Officer. For example: If the homeless man says he did not see the guy stab himself or if he did see the guy stab himself -- it still strongly suggests the man stabbed himself.
A considerably less-leading question would be; Did you see what happened?
Later, US SS Police Officer tells the homeless man that they backed the video to where they saw the guy sitting on a park bench just before being found on the ground, several yards from the nearest bench. The officer states that they are declaring it a #SelfInflicted wound.
Several curious questions:
The fact that the particular homeless man was assaulted by a US SS officer April the same year (just months earlier) and still has not got a copy of that video; there is no reason to believe that they ever looked at the video of the stabbing, just a few days ago.
Police "investigations" nearly always blame the closest person, the first person on the scene, who calls it in, etc. so it saves time "investigating". Let the person harmed pay for a real investigation. What the hell do the untrained police care. They still get paid, no matter what.
Just more #evidence of how incompetent our government officers are. No wonder @realDonaldTrump wants to put up a 13-foot fence. It will at least slow people down that #SecretService lets over the fence to see #President
