Unfortunately, far too many #Legislators #LawEnforcement and #Judges take the phrase from The Constitution for the United States of America, Article 1, Section 8, Last Clause, as the power to legislate in all areas whatsoever.
This simply is not true.
We know this, only when we take our Government's two documents together:
Let's look at how many time the "Severability" clause appears in The United States Code:
The Constitution for the United States of America, Article 6 has an interesting severability clause concerning State Constitution, and all Laws (federal, state, etc)
When Law-Makers, Law-Enforcers, and Law-Triers swear Oath to the US Constitution, as they all do (city, county, state, national) they claim that they know enough to be able to determine whether or not some law or part thereof -- violates-- the Supreme Law of the Land. After all..Ignorance of the Law is No Excuse for violating that SUPREME LAW OF THE LAND -- now is it?
What is the first thing a cop or judge tells you for not knowing the millions of laws (city, county, state, nation) when they ticket or arrest your for violating them? Ignorance of the Law is not Excuse!
What is the first EXCUSE those cops and judges rely upon when it comes. IGNORANCE! They claim that they are not supposed to judge whether or not a law violates the US Constitution --The Supreme Law of the Land or not. That, after all, is left between you and the US Supreme Court, if you have enough money, time, and other resources to even get it that far, let alone to even be heard.
Those same cops and judges benefit financially from their GROSS IGNORANCE of the Law they swore oath to. Their Excuses?
We allowed our governments to return us to pre-1776 political corruption --- AND WE DID NOTHING to stop it!!!
