How do you measure "prevention"?

If the the government takes the guns away from someone they consider to be a risk; and that person commits a crime without a gun -- sure, they perhaps stopped a "gun" crime but they did not stop the crime or the criminal.

If you interfere with someone you assume is about to commit a crime; you only have violated that person's rights and while making yourself the criminal. #SwappingCrimes does not reduce crime. It merely changes the names of the types of crimes and the names of the actual criminals.

#MomsDemand #StudentsDemand would be better off getting our governments to properly enforce #Amendment13 in order to make crime more painful than the joy of the rewards.
