A man claims that he left some umbrellas with a female protester in Lafayette Square, DC.
The man did not come back to get them while the woman was on shift.
The shift changes. Another guy takes over.
The man claiming the umbrellas goes into the protest tent, with the #SS watching and the new-shift protester wondering why the #SS are not stopping the guy.
The man grabs two, apparently new umbrellas, claiming they are his.
The male protester has no idea whether someone donated the umbrellas to the protest or not.
A "senior" SS officer simply asks the guy claiming the umbrellas to be his, if they are his.
When the guy lets the man go with his umbrellas; the SS officer acts as though he did at least an elementary investigation.
I want that SS Officer to do any investigation where I may be accused of a crime. All I have to do is claim I did not do it; or that the items in question are either mine or not (depending on the items) and I'm allowed to leave.
