Many of which the "experts" have claimed to keep some of the better candidates out of office. All those 'faults' have NOTHING to do with the qualifications for government office, but can easily be adjusted. Such as homelessness and poverty. You could help solve those by hiring me for the office of President of "The United States of America", and thus housing me with one of the perks of the job and paying me the $400,000 + other benefits. But please!!! Do not put me in the White House because I am homeless and there has never been a homeless president. Do so because you consider me to be the best-informed person (that you know of to date) who KNOWS how The Declaration, The Constitution, and the laws are supposed to work together to EQUALLY protect everyone's rights. For this, I allow my résumé to do its job. CIVICS is generally defined as: "the study of the rights and duties of citizenship."
Because there is so much bad and/or useless information that passes for a good civics education, I rewrote that civics definition to be: The correct study and the correct practice of the rights and the duties of citizenship. With the correct study and practice of the rights and duties of citizenship; The unanimous Declaration of the united States of America and The Constitution of the United States of America are the citizens' reading comprehension and mathematics story problem that teaches us how to properly control our government. Why the difference?
Look at the government "civics" test questions for naturalizing as united States American. Practically none of the information is useful to protecting our rights and duties as united States Americans. And yes; these spellings are correct for us who are free citizens of the union of States on the American continent. This website content dates back to 1756 with the definition for words, as they meant to the signing and amending generation. I simply dug it back up. Dusted it off. My information usually comes two-forked, the positive with the negative by necessity. The positive side is how it ought to be, by design. The other side is what injustices you can expect from our present government officers.
